Air New Zealand is an international and domestic airline within New Zealand, as well as to and from Australia, the South West Pacific, Asia, North America, and the United Kingdom. It flies to 27 domestic destinations and 26 international destinations in 14 countries.

Cabin Classes

Air New Zealand offers three cabin classes: Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class.

There are two Business Class options Business Premier which is available on 747 and 777 aircrafts, and standard Business Class on Tasman and Pacific Flights. Business Premier seats are 22" wide and feature a ottoman footrest, they convert into a 6'7.5" bed. Other features include a a large adjustable table, in-seat power, multiple stowage options, 3 individual reading lights, retractable cocktail tray with water bottle holder, amenity kit and a 10.4" screen. As well as chef developed menus, Business Premier class offers self-service refreshment areas for drinks and snacks throughout your flight.

Seats aboard normal Business Class have a seat pitch of 42" on the A320 and 50" on the 767, seat recline is 7" and 15" respectively. Chef developed menus and amenity kits are also provided.

Premium Economy seats have a pitch of 41" on 777 and 38-40" on the 747, this equates to 50% more recline than in standard Economy Class. In-seat power, leg and foot rest, and water bottle storage are also features of the Premium Economy seats. Entertainment is viewed on your seat-back 8.4" hi-resolution screen. A self-service drinks and refreshment bar is available for Premium Economy passengers.

Long-haul Economy Class offers a wide range of on-demand entertainment options on your own 8.4" screen with in-seat remote control action. Kids packs are also provided to keep the kids entertained for hours.

Onboard

Entertainment options onboard the flight include a great range of video and audio on-demand options such as latest blockbuster movies, TV programmes, exclusive audio programmes, and a CD collection. A dedicated kids section specifically selected to entertain a younger audience is also accessible. In total you will have access to more than 580 hours of on-demand entertainment from boarding to touch down.

Air New Zealand operates International Lounges in ten of their destinations, in addition to this there are over 550 lounges around the world available to Star Alliance Gold customers and those travelling in First, Business Class or on a Star Alliance Carrier.
