Air Tahiti was founded in 1996 and began flight operations in 1998. It is the leading carrier to the French Polynesia and links Polynesia to four continents.
Cabin Classes
Air Tahiti Nui offers three cabin classes: First Class, Business Class, and Economy Class.
Poerava First is the most exclusive First-Class cabin over the routes Air Tahiti Nui fly, with only six guests at one time. The seats are fully reclining sleeper seats with 180-degree recline and a 19.4" width, state-of-the-art components such as a 12-inch video screen with continual first-run movies and personal in-flight telephones. All amenities are provided such as oversized pillows and blankets and soft pajamas for a restful sleep.
Business Class on Air Tahiti Nui serves up to 24 passengers at one time. Business Class Seats recline 154 degrees. Seat Pitch is 53" for window/aisle seats and 55" in the center section.
First and Business Class meals are individually served to your request, the wine list has been personally selected by a Parisian sommelier.
Moana (Economy) Class serves 264 passengers. The eight-abreast seating layout with the popular 2-4-2 arrangement meets the seating requests of our couple- and family-oriented passengers. Every passenger has their own adjustable video screen with first-run movies and interactive games.
Before You Fly
First and Business Class travellers with Air Tahiti Nui have access to full service lounges around the world. In Paris you are invited to the Cathay Pacific Lounge, Auckland and Sydney the Qantas Business Class Lounge, Tokyo the Salon L'Espace (Air France's Lounge). In Papeete you are invited to the International Lounge located one floor above the departure gates.
Air Tahiti Nui's frequent flyer programme is called Club Tiare. There are three membership levels; standard, silver and gold.
