Aircalin is the international airline of New Caledonia. It operates services to 10 regional destinations; 4 flights weekly between Noumea and Tokyo, 3 weekly flights between Noumea and Osaka, 2 weekly between Noumea and Seoul, as well as flights to Auckland, Brisbane, Nadi, Papeete, Port Vila, Sydney and Wallis.
Cabin Classes
Aircalin offers Business and Economy Class cabins. Their Airbus A330-200 seats 271 passengers, with 26 in Hibiscus (Business) Class. The Airbus A320 seats 146 with 8 in Hibiscus Class.
Aircalin's Business Class is called Hibiscus Class. Passengers have access to a dedicated check-in counter, priority luggage and comfortable lounges at all stops. There is a 30kg baggage allowance and 40kgs if you fly on to France on Air France or KLM Royal Dutch. Seats recline to 140degrees and are adjustable electronically. Meals are traditionally French and comprise of an entree, a choice of two main courses, a selection of cheese, mixed salad and an assortment of desserts. French wines are offered to accompany your meal.
Economy class seats are fitted with adjustable foot-rest and head-rests. On the A330, you also have your own personal video screen. Traditionally French meals are served in economy and all drinks (including alcoholic) are free (except champagne).
Onboard
Your inflight entertainment consists of a choice of a dozen recent films, with a selection for children. There is also a series of reports on the Pacific islands, Aircalin TV showing sports, TV series and cartoons, a dozen music channels, as well as 10 games. All along the flight, you may also follow the plane’s movements on their IXplor system.

Aircalin is a member of the Flying Blue Frequent Flyer program. Other members include Air France, KLM Royal Dutch, Air Europa, Northwest Airlines and Kenya Airways. All partners are recognised by one another.
