British Airways is the flag carrier of the United Kingdom, it is the largest airline in the UK based on fleet size, international flights and international destinations. Its main hub is London Heathrow Airport, its second hub is London Gatwick Airport. British Airways serves nearly 150 destinations, including six domestic cities, it is one of only seven airlines that fly to all six inhabited continents.

Cabin Classes

British Airways offers four cabin classes: First Class, Club World (Business Class), World Traveller Plus (Premium Economy Class), and World Traveller Class (Economy Class).

Seats in First Class are located within their own suites with 6 ft 6 in (1.98m) beds, in-seat power for laptops, personal phones, and entertainment facilities. Menus are upgraded from Club World and offer greater choice and quality. First Class passengers are given soft cotton pyjamas and velvet slippers. A single piece quilted mattress has been specially designed to fit the shape of the suite. Amenity kit includes eye gel, lip balm and moisturiser, made from the finest natural ingredients, all enclosed in a stylish Anya Hindmarch bag, exclusively designed for First Class.

Club World seats extend out to 201cms and offer a 54.3cm wide bed. They are fitted with a soft mattress, memory-foam headrest, quilt and a touch button privacy screen. A generously sized desk, in-seat phone, laptop power and personal locker all add to the luxury of this experience. All Club World passengers are provided with a wash bag containing some extras to help you relax and enjoy your flight. Each seat has its own 10.4" monitor.

World Traveller Plus (Premium Economy) boasts a 38" seat pitch, two armrests per seat, added recline and in-seat laptop power. The cabin is located in a seperate cabin to World Traveller Class.

World Traveller (Economy Class) offers seats with a 31" pitch. All seats are fitted with their own seat-back entertainment systems and a fully adjustable head-rest.

Onboard

First and Business Class passengers have the choice of a la carte menu dining or they may choose a more informal service and enjoy the flexibility of eating when they are ready. Club Kitchen is also available for passengers to help themselves from a selection of tasty snacks and beverages such as fresh wraps, chicken tikka masala, fruit smoothies and much more.

British Airways offers Audio and Video on Demand (AVOD). Choose from over 200 entertainment options with over 100 movies and TV programmes and over 50 music CDs and audio books.

Before You Fly

British Airways airport lounges are open to all passengers travelling in First and Business Class as well as Silver and Gold members of the British Airways Executive Club. Facilities include complimentary food and beverages, wireless broadband and PCs, complimentary treatment in the Elmis Travel Spa (at selected loactions). British Airways has over 60 dedicated lounges and through their partner over 90 additional lounges worldwide. 

Members of the Qantas Frequent Flyer programme can collect and spend points when travelling on British Airways flights.
