Gulf Air is the main carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The airline operates services to 45 destinations in 28 countries across Africa, Asia and Europe.

Cabin Classes

Gulf Air offers three cabin classes: First Class, Business Class and Economy Class.

First Class on Gulf Air offers private sleep compartments with Sleeper Seats, the cabin accommodates just eight seats. With an 80" pitch, 25" width and recline of 180 degrees you will be in the lap of luxury. Sleeper Seats are fitted with cotton sheets, oversized puillows and duvet. Pyjamas are also offered along with changing room facilities and suit to pack your day clothes. Private suites are large enough to accommodate two guests if you wish to have company during your meal.

First Class passengers travelling on select A330 and A340 services have access to Sky Chefs. This services personalises your dining experience.

Gulf Air Business Class also offers Sleeper Seats to its passengers. They have a 63" pitch, 24" width and 180 degree recline. The cabin is configured in a 2-2-2 design, so along with your individual dividing screen, cocoon seat head and noise cancelling head phones you will be in a world of your own.

The Sleeper Seat service is offered on select flights between Bahrain and Europe, Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai. Sleeper Seats are gradually being rolled out across the fleet.

Onboard

In-flight entertainment is shown through Gulf Air's Air Entertainment, offering over 100 hours of video and audio options. First Class passengers also have access to an additional 16 films on their menu.

Sky Nanny

Sky Nanny is a unique service to Gulf Air, helping those travelling with small children. Sky Nanny services have now been extended to the Lounge and help with everything from boarding to keeping a watchful eye on the little ones in the sky. Sky Nanny services are offered at the Bahrain Lounge as well as on all wide-bodied aircraft flying long haul routes.

Before You Fly

Gulf Air airport lounges can be located at Bahrain, Dubai and London. They offer VIP access to First and Business Class passengers, Gold and Silver Frequent flyer members, and Gold member may also bring one travel companion with them free of charge. These lounges offer everything from state-of-the-art business facilities to a day spa, Temple Spa. Showers, and meals/ beverages are offered in the lounges also. For those travelling to other destinations with Gulf Air, there are some international lounges open to you.

Gulf Air's frequent flyer program offers three tiers of membership: Blue, Silver and Gold. Unlike many other programmes, Gulf Air frequent flyer miles are valid for 10 years.
