Virgin Atlantic Airways is a British airline operating out of London. It's majority is owned by Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Group, with the remaining share owned by Singapore Airlines. It services the United Kingdom, North America, the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia.

Cabin Classes

Virgin Atlantic Airways offers three cabin classes: Upper Class (Business Class), Premium Economy, and Economy Class.

Upper Class cabins on Virgin Atlantic feature private suites. With flat-beds at 6'6" long they are one of the longest fully flat Business beds in the skies. They are 33" wide when fully reclined and 22" wide when in a seating position. Seats have full lumbar support, and own ottoman which can double as a seat for a guest. .There's space for storing a laptop - (power access is provided), a generous table for working or eating and plenty of room to put your feet up! Every suite is fitted with a multi-directional 10.4" TV screen with a huge choice of films, TV programmes and games. Dining is offered when you want and what you want. Upper Class Suites also offer an onboard bar to sit and relax at.

Virgin Atlantic's Premium Economy was last year awarded with the 'Best Premium Economy' at the Business Traveller Awards. Some benefits include dedicated Premium Economy check in, priority boarding, seats with a pitch of 38" and a width of 21", preflight drink, complimentary newspaper to read, personal seatback TV offering the latest blockbuster movies, the hottest TV shows, video games and up to 14 audio channels, devoted cabin crew, after dinner liqueur,  selection of fruit from the fruit bowl, and when you land priority baggage reclaim.

Economy Class cabins on Virgin Atlantic have an average seat pitch of 31", and are designed to maximise legroom. New seats also have adjustable headrests and lumbar supports.

Before You Fly

Virgin Atlantic's VIP airport lounges are called ClubHouses, with features ranging from beauty treatments, full business facilities, free Wifi, stylish bars and delectable dining. Club Houses are offered at: Heathrow, Gatwick, JFK, Newark, Washington, San Francisco, Boston, Johannesburg, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. Heathrow airport also offers a Revivals Lounge in the arrivals terminal. Upper Class passengers also have access to various partner airline lounges around the world.

Virgin Atlantic's frequent flyer programme is called Flying Club.
