Airnorth is the major regional carrier in Northern Australia. Based in Darwin, Airnorth operates 152 scheduled weekly departures servicing 10 destinations.

Capiteq Limited purchased Airnorth in 1993. At the time Airnorth flew out of Darwin to several communities in the Northern Territory, using four Cessna 402C aircraft. Since Capiteq involvement Airnorth has grown to operate eleven propjet aircraft plus other assorted aircraft throughout the Northern Territory, Western Australia, South Australia, Indonesia and East Timor.

Under Capiteq limited, Airnorth have a strong commitment to regional communities, supporting ongoing humanitarian aid in East Timor with offers of discounted fares to approved non-government organisations and granting substantial waivers for excess luggage on charity items. Airnorth has recently signed with Angel Flight Australia who co-ordinate free of charge air travel for medically and financially needy patients.
