GoAir launched its operations in November 2005. GoAir, a low-fare carrier, is wholly owned by the Wadia Group, and is Mumbai based. They launched with the objective of offering air travel at premiums marginal to train fares across India. The airline currently operates across 13 destinations within India, through 595 weekly flights. GoAir operates a fleet of 10 Airbus A320s featuring brightly coloured livery, in green, orange, black, blue, and pink. Being a no-frills airlines, they do not offer a complimentary meal service to its passengers, however they do offer a buy-on-board food service, and mineral water is provided free of charge.
