In 2004 the Kuwait Government granted permission for a non-governmental airline to be established. Jazeera Airways was the first airline to enter this newly liberalized industry, Jazeera are privileged to carry the national flag of Kuwait as the country’s new national airline. As a privately owned airline, Jazeera Airways was established using a low-fares business model. They began operations on 30 October 2005 with a fleet of brand new Airbus A320’s flying to the Middle East’s most popular tourist destinations.
