To enter the Best Flights ‘Chillin’ in Hawaii’ competition all you need to do is subscribe to the FREE Best Flights e-newsletter in either .html or plain .txt formats and remaining subscribed at the point of the competition draw which will be held on Friday 9 April 2010 5:00pm WST. You can subscribe anytime after Friday 5 February 2010 5:00 pm WST (2:00 pm EST).

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into this competition is deemed to be an acknowledgement and agreement of these Terms and Conditions of Entry.

Entry is open to residents of Australia who are over the age of 18 years. Employees of the promoter or their immediate families, and agencies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.

Enter by subscribing to the FREE Best Flights e-newsletter in either .html or plain .txt formats and remain subscribed at the point of the competition draw which will be held on Friday 9 April 2010 5:00pm WST (2:00 pm EST). All necessary information to allow an entrant’s subscription must be completed via http://www.bestflights.com.au/ns/tools_resources/newsletters/. One entry per subscription per entrant. Incomplete subscriptions will be deemed invalid and will be discarded. The promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected subscriptions.

Promotion commences Friday 5 February 2010 5:00 pm WST (2:00 pm EST) and closes Friday 9 April 2010 3:00pm WST (12:00 pm EST). The prize will be drawn on 9 April 2010 5:00pm WST at Best Flights, 299 Vincent Street, Leederville WA 6007 and the winner will be notified in writing, their name published online on www.bestflights.com.au and in the Australian newspaper on Monday 12 April 2010 and also on www.bestflights.com.au on the same date.

The draw is electronically made by a computer program written in Perl, which randomly selects an email address from the list of subscribers held in a MySQL database table, which is then displayed to the Promoter in their online competition administration interface. The promoters’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant who appears to have tampered with the entry process, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical securities, administration securities, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition.

The prize must be claimed by Friday 9 July 2010 5:00pm WST (2:00pm EST). If the prize is unclaimed by Friday 9 July 2010 , a redraw will occur on 5:00 pm WST (2:00pm EST) on Monday 12 July 2010 at the same time and place as the first draw and the winner will be notified in writing, their name published online on www.bestflights.com.au and in the Australian newspaper on Wednesday 14 July 2010 and also on www.bestflights.com.au on the same date.

The winner must complete the travel by the 30 November 2010.

The main prize is valued at $8,000 and consists of:

2 x Adult Economy Class Air Tickets to Hawaii with Hawaiian Airlines

VALUE: AUD $3,000.00 per person exclusive of airport taxes.

Flights to Honolulu are from Sydney, connecting domestic services from all other Australia capital cities are included in the prize.

8 nights accommodation at the Waikiki Parc Hotel in an Ocean View Room

VALUE: AUD $1,000.00 per person.

Winners must complete prize travel by 30 November 2010. Travel is subject to flight availability and flight restrictions. Travel is not permitted during the following periods in 2010: 15 Mar- 27 Apr / 08June- 26 Aug / 21Nov- 26 Nov/15 Dec- 16 Jan '11.

Tickets are not transferable and if the prize winner does not complete the prize travel 30 November 2010, the prize will be forfeited and cash will not be awarded in lieu of prize. Both passengers must travel together.

The components of the prize will be “subject to availability” dependent upon the winner choosing their desired tours and dates.

The prize is not transferable, negotiable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The promoter is not responsible or liable for any change in the value of the prize occurring between the date of publishing and the date the prize is claimed.

The promoter is not liable for the cancellation or duration of all or any part of the prize for any reason. The promoter reserves the right to change the prize at any time if a prize becomes unavailable, subject to state regulations.

The Winner will be drawn on Friday 09 April 2010 and will be notified in writing and their name published in The Australian newspaper on Monday 12 April 2010 and also on www.bestflights.com.au from on the same date.

All entries become the property of the promoter. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this competition are governed by the national privacy principles. The promoter may use an entrant’s personal information, such as name, address and other information for marketing and consumer research purposes.

The promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (included but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any of the prizes except for liability which can not be excluded by law.

If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions of any relevant authorities.

All entrants consent that the promoter may use the entrant’s name, likeness image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (and including photograph, film and any recordings) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome) and promoting any products manufactures, distributed or supplied by the promoter.

The promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide identity and residency proof. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the promoter.
