Flyglobespan is a rapidly expanding low fares airline based in Scotland. They operate scheduled services from Glasgow and Edinburgh to 36 destinations in Europe, North America, the Caribbean and Africa. Flyglobespan main bases are Glasgow International Airport and Edinburgh Airport, with secondary bases at other airports in Scotland and also in England.
The airline commenced its first flight in April 2002 and now operates 21 aircraft to a wide range of destinations within Europe, Africa, Canada and the USA. Flyglobespan’s aircraft fly quietly, economically and are environmentally friendly.
Flyglobespan has been named Airline of the Year 2005 by airport operator BAA Scotland. The airline was presented with the award at a ceremony organised by the Scottish Passenger Agents Association.
