Well, its not often, if ever actually, we have ever sent you an alert just featuring cruises, but we know many of the Australian public have been hanging out for the details of the new QM2 sailing for 2007, it is a massive event in the history of cruising.

The full voyage starts and finishes in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and encompasses South America, Hawaii, South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Asia, Middle East and Europe and takes 81 nights – hence it has been named “Around the World in 80 Days” - but you can choose to take any one of the shorter sectors, as listed below.

As well as making maiden calls in such cities as San Francisco, Auckland, Hong Kong, Singapore, KL and Dubai, QM2 will also be making her debut in Sydney on 20 February 2007, the same day as her sister, the QE2, who will be in the middle of celebrating her 25th Silver Jubilee World Cruise. This is the first time since the 1940s that two Cunard ships will dock in Sydney harbour! The QE2 voyage is due to go on sale later this year.
